Beginning in 2002, the Craftsman-UYRS relationship has become a vital source of growth for this student program. Craftsman not only provides its quality tools and storage for the UYRS race shop and mini-cup car competitions, but it has also become a leading sponsor in facilitating invaluable motorsports industry opportunities for UYRS members.

 The Craftsman Career Development Program is designed to provide an in-depth (and unforgettable) internship experience top Urban Youth Racing School participants with a dedicated interest in pursuing a career in motorsports (includes racing, mechanics, pit crew, automotive, PR, sports/sponsorship marketing, and more). Upon completion of the program, Craftsman Interns will have developed many of the tools and personal contacts necessary to begin this career path.
