XBOX POINTS CHAMPIONSHIP UYRS uses the XBOX Point Championship Program as an incentive for children to do better in school. The XBOX Point Championship Program is an educational plan that allows students to accumulate points for class participation, team projects, essay contests, on track driving and most importantly good grades and attendance in regular school. NASCAR SCHOLARSHIP AWARD This Monetary scholarship award is giving to the High School senior with the highest Grade Point Average. GM Racing's Looking Towards the Future Scholarship Award GM Racing Provides monetary scholarship awards to students to further their education. This program encourages determination, discipline and hard work, all of which are core values of UYRS. Craftsman Intern Scholarship Awards Keeping in line with the other internship programs like the one-week NASCAR Craftsman Truck Team Internship in Charlotte NC. Craftsman Motorsports provides scholarship money to UYRS College or High School students who have interned at the UYRS headquarters. Their internship hours also count as class credits. SHINE AWARD The SHINE award is given To UYRS mentors that have been with the program at least 4 years. These students have used the life skills that they have acquired at the Urban Youth Racing School and have become outstanding citizens in their community. GMAC Parents Awards We do not want to forget the extremely important jobs that parents do, this award is given to parents that have demonstrated an outstanding commtiment to their childrens future and well being.
